Drinking Water

It's been a long time since we tried to give Benton
water. I had no choice as our night nurse (Sheila)
decided it was time for him to starting drinking out
of a cup like a big boy. His first sip in a long time just
happened to be her drink of choice, diet Mountain Dew!
Dad was not happy!... but who knows what happens when
the parents are away, right? If he doesn't have his Grandma's
around, who else is going to feed him stuff he's not suppose
to be eating or drinking?!

Anyway, today I got home early and decided to give
Benton some practice on drinking water and he didn't
do too bad. He really picked up the sucking in the 2nd
video. Enjoy!

Garage Construction Begins and Benton Chills

The construction crew started demolition this morning and by 7:30pm
they nearly completed the support and
had the roof covered with a tarp. Quick!

Ok, now on to the fun stuff

Benton smiley after bath. Oops, another shot of B
holding himself up. (Standby for a great video of him sitting
on his own for over a minute!)

Sometimes Benton's eyes just align...

Elbows

Just captured Benton pushing off his elbows tonight.
(Disclaimer) we have to let you all know this is rare and he is not
doing this regularly. However, it's GREAT to see progress!

A few fun moments with Benton...

Here's a little bedtime reading with Daddy.
Benton picked a story about Molly and Manny,
the two monkeys he knows who are in love.

Here is Benton putting some weight on his hands.
At first he wasn't so sure about the new position,
but he soon got comfortable and looked so proud of
himself. (Not as proud as Mommy and Daddy were
of him!) Wow!

Benton wishes you all a great day!
